13. Secret tips
sorry to disappoint but I don’t think I have any... not to be That Person but I think the secret is to have fun and stay true to yourself. I see a lot of people here getting frustrated because their islands don’t look like the perfect cottage-core dream town they see on social media but really (1) some photos are so edited you know it doesn’t look like that at all on your switch (2) who cares!! every island is perfect in it’s own way, it doesn’t have to be all thematic, it doesn’t have to be all complete and finished and with little cute design stones everywhere. Those are super cool don’t get me wrong I’m also very admirative of a lot of islands I see, people really put a lot of work in it and it shows but to me AC is a personal game and someone else’s town will never feel personal to me. So yeah get inspiration from others, share your work but never beat yourself up!
22. Favorite flowers
hyacinths! I really want to make something that looks like a lavender field! I already use yellow and orange hyacints in a part of my town to make it look like wheat lol, I’m not sure it works but I like it. they’re the most versatile flowers I think.
26. Favorite special visitor, event or reward
Oh though one! since the question doesn’t specify “acnh” I’m gonna go with Phineas and the badges in acnl. It felt so rewarding to see him and collecting badges was fun. I also loved him on the wii game. acnh wise I’d say Redd, I really look forward to see him regularly and get more artworks. also I’m very curious about Label because I feel like she’s gonna get a shop/ have a role to play in the future of the game so I look forward to that!
