The temptation to start coding my own ut visual novel from scratch... Like not as a parody or gag or anything like that and maybe not even w the intention of releasing it, but... Vns done right are such a cool art medium and writing KCY has been weirdly easy I guess???? Part of it w that project is probably bc I don't need to worry about it being genuinely good, but it does still need to match the vibes of the original game so it's not like any word vomit will do.
Not having to write scene transitions or expressions changes in the same format as a standard story probably helps since all that is visual ig???? So I wonder if it'd help me lay out the groundwork for my actual genuine au stuff better :o
(that and I could. Do all the art myself in my own style and improve my drawing skills along the way lol)
