Walk me through this because I probably need a rewatch, and I don't remember much of the book (my bad).
But isn't the whole point of seasons 1 and 2 that Louis chose Claudia over Lestat, and that said choice messed him up because, in the end, it didn't even matter? Claudia died anyway.
Louis' love for Claudia was selfish and dysfunctional, but it was also what led to Lestat's death. Louis carried the guilt of choosing her over him for years.
He loved Claudia more than anything. Hell, in the show, she haunts the narrative because Louis is still incapable of letting her go.
The tragedy of Claudia is that there was only one way her story could have ended. She was on borrowed time. Death would have caught up with her sooner or later.
One of the most interesting things about Louis is that he has no idea who he is. He only knows how to define himself in relation to others–son, brother, lover. But it was never enough. He needed Claudia to save himself. She gave his life a new meaning. I don't think he expected to love her that much. That he would've enjoyed being her father so much that he didn't know how to be without her. The whole point is that Louis can live without Lestat, but he doesn't know how to go on without Claudia. She is his fucking child. He wasn't the perfect father, far from it, but he did love her above everything.
Repeat after me, if there was a secret episode, the duffers wouldn't tell us about the secret episode, otherwise it wouldn't really be a secret now would it.
me if (when) mike confessing his love for will happens in front of jonathan and/or robin
Was the albany era only four years?
Bunny is 24 in IDES, and 30 in OLDF which is set in earl's court. He spends 18 months in prison a month on his own and several more with raffles as a nurse, which puts the time between GIFT and OLDF at around two years. He would have been 28 in GIFT.
Maybe my math is wrong but did they only spend four years together before GIFT? The implication in almost every later albany era story is that they've been together for much longer.
It also mean they only spent 7 years total together which. ow.

Two chapters since the last proper Ryujin appearance + content. I'm scared 💔
Putting in a theory for Critical Role campaign 4 before tonight's session
I think Bolaire somehow knows about Thjazi (accidentally?) closing the doors to Faerie. It could explain some more of that animosity and why he would think that Thjazi would sacrifice any of them. I'm pretty sure that it closed due to necromantic energy, so maybe some faeries died during the event?
I don't know how or why he knows, but I feel like he has to have some kind of dirt on Thjazi and this seems like a big one
Ok I was rereading this bluesky post to re-estimate the release window.
So the Japanese translation should be complete by now since it is May.
So we're on bug testing / fixing phase currently, now here Toby says indefinitely but we're going to say a generous 8+ weeks.
If we started on April 1st and it's now May 23rd that's roughly 8 weeks already.
If we go 12 weeks that's on June 19th, the release of Toy Story 5, and we have to keep in mind he needs console approval and to prepare "various other things".
The various other things will likely be, the countdown, extra content on the website, newsletter, new trailer for the chapter.
So my prediction is, newsletter and release date soon around the 19th of June. And then we can all start oogling the countdown and crossing our fingers for our theories to be correct.
