I'm falling for your eyes (but they don't know me yet)
Chapter 2 - In this stride I find home
“I don’t have an address yet, I just came here today.”
“You’re looking for a job before you have a place to stay?” he asks him incredulously, eyebrows raised. Bradley tracks the movement of the toothpick being slid into the opposite corner of his mouth. The curve of that mouth, even though enticing, is also very expressive and right now it screams ‘lunatic’ without even uttering a word. “Nevermind. Where do you come from then? I’ll write that,” he asks, pen ready on the paper.
“San Diego.”
“You drove all the way from San Diego to-”
“I walked.”
“Pardon?”
“I walked,” Bradley repeats.
