So, I have a bit of a problem with TS3. I download too much. (Yeah, yeah, I know, a problem we all share!)
Because of this, I extensively make use of collection files to sort my content, particularly the horror that is misc decor. However, certain Sims 3 Store content also comes with collection files. It’s not consistent (some of them are clothes collection folders, ffs, which is literally useless).
I’ve tried so many things to get rid of/disable them.
Deleting them. (They come back next game)
Moving the order so they’re at the bottom of the list. (Nope)
Making the folder read only. (Added back as soon as the game launches.)
Folder read only and hidden. (Same as above.)
It’s infuriating. If I could at least stick them at the end of the list where they don’t get in my way, it’d be fine but I can’t even do that. WHY???
