Platonic Kyoru AU
Alternate universe where Kyo and Tohru love and adore each other platonically. They have no romantic connection, but their platonic connection is so strong that most people assume they are lovers.
When they graduate from high school and Kyo leaves, Tohru goes to live with him because why wouldn't she?
Once he graduates from high school as well, Momiji is a frequent visitor. He knows that Kyo will always be a part of Tohru's life, and it doesn't stop him from dating her. It's somewhat of a relief for Kyo that Momiji is getting close with her, because if she's going to have a romantic relationship, it should be with someone that he trusts completely.
By the time Momiji and Tohru are engaged, Kyo becomes a father. A preteen girl who had had a number of lessons at the dojo, was rejected by her family because she's trans. Kyo (and Tohru and Momiji) take her in with open arms.
Once Tohru and Momiji marry, they all move into a new house. With the income from Momiji's position in his father's company, they can afford a large house with many bedrooms. They plan on having a large found family, and they do. Before long, a second child joins the family, a Sohma boy who was being neglected by his feuding parents (the Sohmas didn't magically stop being dysfunctional just because of the end of the curse). He took awhile to open up to his new family, but no walls can withstand the combined love of Kyo, Tohru and Momiji.
Not long afterwards, Tohru becomes pregnant. The two kids are a little nervous about this, but Tohru tells them how happy that her new child will have such a wonderful big brother and sister.
As the years go by, the family grows, between the children that Tohru gives birth to, and the formerly lost and rejected children who make their way to the home.
After Tohru has her second child, Momiji takes Kyo aside. He says he and Tohru had had a talk: if Kyo wanted to have a child of his own with Tohru, they would both happily consent to it. Kyo hugs Momiji. He thanks him, but says that he just can't imagine having that kind of relationship with her. He doesn't need to conceive a child with her to be close to her. He says he's very flattered and he'll thank Tohru as well.
Then he gives Momiji a noogie. Old habits die hard.
Love doesn't stop every sadness. Bullying still exists. Once, a pair of their children are in trouble with school for fighting with another child. That other child was bullying smaller children. All three of their parents approve of their children defending the weak, but agree that they did break school rules and deserve whatever punishment the school gives them. Kyo accompanies the two as they apologize to their teacher. As they apologize, Kyo gives the teacher a Look. A look that says the teacher needs to do a better job looking out for bullying in his class, or he will have Kyo Sohma to deal with.
On any given night, nobody can predict how many people will be home for dinner between children, friends, and visiting aunts, uncles and cousins. Their grocery bill is quite large, and they need a restaurant-sized rice cooker. Everyone's favorite visitor is grandpa Kazuma who is just as proud and boastful of his grandchildren as he ever was of Kyo.
People are usually too polite to ask, but sometimes people do question Kyo as to why he doesn't have a partner. The question doesn't offend him. He gives the same answer that Kazuma gave back in the day: his life is raising his children and that's all he's ever wanted.
As the years go by, children grow up and leave home. Some of them find partners of their own, and have children of their own. It is an easy transition for the three parents to become grandparents.
Years upon years, and they grow old. Kyo and Tohru love to walk together, hand in hand, just like when they were teenagers. Kyo often tells her that he's had the life he always wanted, and he's grateful to her for being a part of it. She tells him that she couldn't imagine her life without him. They continue their walk.
The possible Eva x Sparda “love confession fic” I wanted to plan is steering towards action/dramatic and I’m not sure if I’m capable of writing that. XD
(I wanted to have this nice, cozy normal confession, not the “I confess after some danger because I was worried about you” cliché *harrumph*)
Nonny... I really don't write Ethan anymore. My only plans to write Ethan are to continue with Ellie's PTSD, and to raise awareness of mental health issues (if a good story presents itself), and to eventually finish my Hollywood U / OH crossover.
I will not be writing the request you sent... I'm not sure if it was a serious request or a troll request, but either way not really my area. lol
As it turns out, what I write best is pure fluff. The absolute simplest of things, but with a lot of heart. Who knew a single woman could write this kind of relationship fluff. I sure didn't.

snippet because i’m procrastinating housecleaning.  not in chronological order because pfffft writing in chronological order how about no
Praven stops in front of an apartment door, entering a security code.  The door slides open, closing behind him and Shae.   He’s halfway across the main living space when he realizes she’s still standing in the entryway, bag in hand.  “What is it?”
“I really don’t want to be a bother, Rutsair.  We passed a lot of hotels on the way here. I can just stay there.”  She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, looking around the apartment.  It’s cozier than she expected, decorated with comfortable-looking furniture and shades of blue, gray, and cream, a multitude of holos on the walls.  “I’m sure you have a lot of things to catch up on, get done.  I don’t need to be monopolizing your time.  Your family will want to hear from you, you were gone for nearly two years.”
He drops his bag at the end of the couch and crosses back over to Shae, taking her bag out of her hands and dropping it next to the door.  “You’re not a bother.  But I think you know that.  What’s this about?”  He gives her a serious look.  “If you’re not comfortable staying here -”
“No, that’s not it.”  And it isn’t.  The problem is that despite the time they spent together on the way here, letting go of three decades of Jedi teachings is harder than she’s anticipated, and she’s realizing that maybe she’s a little more free than she knows how to handle.
While she isn’t willing to toss aside everything she learned - not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, as Master Din was fond of saying - she’s spent the trip to Dromund Kaas coming to terms with the fact that she likely won’t be returning to the Order … not that they’d want her back after a mission of cultural exploration to Dromund Kaas, anyway.  Too many people already assumed she was just biding her time, and she doesn’t know if she can stomach another twenty years of trying to convince people she’s not out to ruin the Republic.
But she doesn’t want to think about all of this now.
Right now he’s standing close enough that she could take a step forward and kiss him, and she ignores the little voice yelling about the danger of attachments and does, her mouth finding his with surprising ease.  She catches his lower lip between her teeth, pleased when he shifts one hand to the small of her back.
“You’re avoiding my question,” he murmurs against her mouth.  It’s a very pleasant sort of avoidance and not one that he necessarily feels like stopping, but if they need to clear the air about something it’s better to do it while they’re both still focused on the conversation instead of other things.
Well, mostly focused on the conversation.
She hums something that could be either agreement or disagreement, skimming her nails along his back.  “Ask me again.”
“Stay with me, Shae.”  A tug on the ribbon wrapped around her hair sends black waves cascading over her shoulders, and it’s a simple thing to leave languid, lingering kisses from the corner of her mouth to her ear, feeling her melt against him as he does.  “Please.”
Who do you write for? And do you do non-smut?
Oh!! I totally write non-smut!!Â
Before I got more comfortable writing smut, all I wrote was fluff!! And I still do. And it’s actually easier too. Writing smut can slow me down since I have to think about the details.Â
So if anyone wants to request just plain fluff, just specify just like how when people requesting smut say “Can I get a Barry smut...” p.s. there’s gotta be nicer/more polite ways to make requests right??
I don’t like to write angst though, unless it’s necessary. I don’t accept requests which mention suicide or self harm or any other dark themes.
Who do I write for? SUPERNATURAL, THE FLASH, MARVEL. Specifically, Sam Winchester and Barry Allen are my boys. I love writing Dean Winchester too! I’m also branching out to Cisco Ramon and Bucky Barnes.
