Why this photo?
I chose this photo (whose author I do not know) as the avatar of my About Loki Laufeyjarson blog because I think it is a symbol of the truth that I want to reveal in my book.
Loki's mouth is sewn that's part of a story where dwarves sew his mouths as punishment for his lies, but in reality I see this as a symbol of the true condemn Loki was subjected to.
The sealed lips and the chains of his final story, silence and condemnation.
Loki was sentenced to silence.
His story has been silenced and he must have remained in the shadows.
Nordic mythology is confusing when speaking of Loki, contradictory.
This is the image that best represents him.
Let's remove the seams from his lips and free him from his chains, Loki has a lot to say.
