". . .the curse is lifted. No more will your master and his wrath and all the destruction that he brings be reborn. He is gone, for good, this time." This is an attempt at the 'terrify my muse' meme.
terrify Kohga ( @hyruleanascendant )
"My master…?" Kohga blinks, briefly at a loss. The only master Kohga had was well, himself! Master Kohga, duh!!
And then it dawns upon him with a slow, creeping horror, what she is refering to.
He sees the triumph reflected in those green, bug-like eyes that makes his skin crawl.
So that weird battle he saw in the sky, with those two dragons, the light one and the dark one…? What he thought was just a really really wild dream he was having after he’d banged his head up bad upon crashing upon some random hunk of rock in the sky?
That was….? Her? The Magnificent One?
He’d heard rumours that the Magnificent One’s presence had dwindled all of a sudden, but he’d hardly been back on the surface long enough to learn fact from fiction—
"No, no, no, NO!" He stomps, fury rising alongside each one.
"Impossible! You?! Link?! Vanquishing HIM?! The Magnificent One? The Great Demon King of Old who has tormented this kingdom since time immemorial?! You? Beating him? ….. you???" He laughs, the sound edging close to delirium.
"My life’s work—-" Undone, just like that?
…he’d never even had the chance to MEET HIM! Not even the faintest glimpse of his Magnifience and all his radiant, masculine beauty that could compare only to Master Kohga’s own. Oh, how many nights had he dreamed of what could be…
"Ragh!!! Screw YOU! I hated you before, Princess Zelda! But you’ve up and made me hate you even more! If that was even possible—"
"BAH, I don’t need him anyway! You underestimate the mighty Yiga Clan’s power on our own! And now that you’ve sufficiently angered me, I’m gonna spend every waking hour making sure that I get you for good, this time!"
After a good nap, of course. He was REALLY tired, okay?!
"Watch where you sleep, Princess, I know where you live."
Using two fingers, he points to his inverted eye and directs them back towards Zelda before disappearing in a puff of smoke, paper talisman fluttering down in his wake.
