So that weird battle he saw in the sky, with those two dragons, the light one and the dark one…? What he thought was just a really really wild dream he was having after he’d banged his head up bad upon crashing upon some random hunk of rock in the sky?

He’d heard rumours that the Magnificent One’s presence had dwindled all of a sudden, but he’d hardly been back on the surface long enough to learn fact from fiction—

I personally don’t think they could really ever get along in a non-AOC verse, the stakes are not high enough for the Yiga to do any side switching or truce making things imo; they’ve gone against Hyrule for 10,000 and will happily continue that much longer.

I think Kohga and Zelda have some common ground and parallels as leaders, but I still don’t think it’s enough to bridge any real gap if the Yiga aren’t personally effected by something that would force them to even consider allying with Hyrule.
