I wanna experiment and try hypnosis for the first time, but I'm like completely lost. Do you have any recommendations or a post for clueless people like myself?
I wish there was a perfect post to recommend to others, but everyone’s needs are different. If you want to experiment and try hypnosis for the first time, have you considered listening to audios? I know several people who have audios, and audios can be a great way to step into hypnosis and see how you react. Remember - everyone’s trance is different, so if one file doesn’t work for you, try another one, or another person! If you have an idea of what files might work for you, that might help narrow it down further. As it is, I can just give you a general list of people who I know have files and can vouch for (and people are free to add theirs as well!!)
Audios (feel free to add your own blogs!):
@allybrinken @sex-obsessed-lesbian @ellaenchanting @rightthewaydown @zanythoughts @elisasaudio @theleeallure @wellgnawed @tennfan2 @the-inquisition-scmh @thesecretsubject @bannableoffense uhhhhhHHH I’m bad at this and I can’t remember everyone who does files off the top of my head! Please please, if you do audios, feel free to chime in! (I swear, I am going to compile a whole list of audios one of these days so I can actually remember and be useful when people ask me questions.)
If audios don’t call to you, then you could try text inductions and hypnosis! There are quite a few floating about out on Tumblr, though I cannot vouch for the content of any because I’m not particularly well-versed in that side myself. They might be under the tags #induction or #hypnotic induction, and certain blogs will usually pick up and reblog a bunch. As for actual person to person text hypnosis, there are often people around and wanting/willing to do such - again, the results of this vary, and sometimes there aren’t the greatest interactions with people. This is generally why I know some tend to stick to audio - I know I did. (Also for me, audio tends to work better - but it’s different for everyone!) If you do go with the text route, remember to be respectful when you ask/approach people, and be careful/safe with your interactions. I know this is a very broad and general thing to say, but if I were to get in depth this post would be very, very, very long, and I’m not sure if it is exactly what you’re asking for. Feel free to reach out to me in message, or send another ask if you would like details!
Hypnosis Information (Blogs)
Which brings me to my next point - blogs! This speaks to the ‘feeling clueless’ aspect of your ask, and is more informational about hypnosis than ‘this is where you can try hypnosis’. I know it sounds like a slow burn, but honestly the best way to step into hypnosis is to follow a bunch of related hypnosis blogs and gleam the information - and ask! So many of these lovely people are happy to answer asks, and I was once an anon asker who would send asks to certain blogs. For some to start - @digitalswitchgamine is a wonderful hypnosis/gfd blog who has the most well-organized blog ever that I clearly need to learn from, and tags all hypnosis-related posts as #hypnothetical. @ellaenchanting is an amazing soul who writes extensively on hypnosis theory and resources. For me personally, I had started out following 4 or 5 people and slowly extended my network as I checked the blogs and posts that got more frequently reblogged, and slowly learned more that way.
Hypnosis Information (Additional Links)
@scarlettred912 also has a whole bunch of lists - these range from patreons to event information to blogs about hypnosis that might be helpful to look at! It’s a lot of information.
Hypnobunny also has a list of informational resources about learning about hypnosis and dipping your toes in the water, and some links to ways to trance (like an interactive trancey website!)

I know this was a long post - but I hope this helped, if even a little bit. Thank you for reaching out and asking, and welcome.
TL;DR - audios are helpful/easy to vet, and I’ve listed some blogs who do that. Text inductions/hypnosis chat with others is another venue, but always be vigilant and safe. If you want to learn more about hypnosis itself, never hesitate to ask, follow blogs, and check out resources listed!
If anyone else has anything to add, please, feel free!
