@hyperionhero sent: let your hair down, let's unwind.

Melissa had not heard anything from the meeting that was supposed to be going at Jack's office for the past hour - which was a sign that she had long learned to recognize as trouble. Anywhere else in the galaxy, that would be an indication of successful negotiations - but when one dealt with someone as... Unique as Hyperion's CEO, things could take a turn in the blink of an eye.
And just as she thought of that, the man himself came strolling through her door, skipping any social protocol such as knocking or even checking if she happened to be alone. Melissa's tablet was lowered with a sigh, her honeyed eyes abandoning written word for the face of her boss with a mix of resignation, annoyance and a high dose of skepticism.
"Mel, my darling!" his voice was cheerful, pairing nicely with his grand gestures - arms were raised above his head in a dignified pose, as if he hadn't seen in forever (rather than 3 hours ago during lunch), "I cannot believe you're still working - what a tragedy, truly," he carried on, approaching her desk and placing himself right behind the chair, purposefully playing with the dark tresses pinned up and causing them to come undone, "Let your hair down, let's unwind. You've worked enough for today."
"Jack," Melissa exhaled, eyes closing for a second and predicting that conversation was not as innocent and cute as it sounded; nothing ever was where the CEO was concerned, particularly with her work hours. The communications officer was a bit of a workaholic, sure, but much of her trouble stemmed from the flamboyant figure curling her hair with idle digits before letting go.
"Why are you trying to make me leave?" the woman turned her chair around, causing Jack to move to the side and take the edge of her desk for him (a fair response to it - Melissa enjoyed perching herself on his workplace, too). The CEO began to talk about her well-being, the routine of the employees he cared for the most (a lie - not particularly in case of Melissa) and how he aimed to make Helios a good environment for current and future generations - a pointed look to the woman's noticeable belly was the final assertive gesture.
"What did you do this time?" Melissa sighed, louder at the second time. Ignoring her boss and husband's pleas came easily enough, reaching for the remote control of the blinds to her office before Jack could do it - an advantage of how carefully he moved around her since Aurora's presence had grown to be undeniable.
A press of the button and there it was - the foot of someone floating aimlessly outside, encased in a very expensive shoe and which suspiciously looked like the same one their visitor had been wearing. Melissa knew she shouldn't have let anyone alone with the CEO when they came equipped with clipboards, checklists and threatening to impose fines, but their (rude) guest insisted.
"Darling, have you learned nothing from the anger management booklets I sent you?" the brunette asked, turning around in her chair to gaze at Jack instead - and earning a toothy grin in response, combined with a graceful bow of his towering figure to place a kiss over her forehead, sweet and caring (despite his glaring murderous side).
"Oh, I learned plenty. I realized I have you for all of that, Mel," hot air from a chuckle brushed against her skin, and his hand touched her middle softly, "Well, and our Aurora."
