Have you thought much about what animals the scientists would be? Both in terms of how they'd view themselves and what you think they'd be?
Gonna answer this in two ways: what they'd turn into if they got hit with some kind of instant animal transmogrification ray, and also what kind of animal they'd WANT to turn into if they had the choice.
N. Gin gives me raccoon or american possum vibes. Just a leetle scavenger creacher with leetle hands doing their best. (Would probably prefer to be a cute lil kitty cat)
Cortex is a smol yappy dog with big ego, like a chihuahua or a pomeranian. (Let's be real, Cortex thinks he's hot shit so he'd think he should be a liger or a similarly huge apex predator, and since he's such an animal geek he'd pick an artificial hybrid species)
Brio is some type of reptile or amphibian, I'm picturing either a bearded dragon or a bullfrog. (Honestly I think he'd be fine with that, but may want something bigger like a komodo dragon or a crocodile)
N. Tropy would be some type of annoying strutting bird, like a rooster or a goose. Since he hates animals so much it stands to reason that were he ever to turn into one he'd make that everyone else's problem.(Would NEVER willingly identify as an animal, but if he were pressed to choose he'd pick an insect or arachnid like praying mantis or a large orbweaver species)

A really random question, but if you were being threatened or held captive by any of the villains, who would you prefer?

2. Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?
Barely. You leave him with a plant, it might not be alive when you return. For pets and children, sure in a pinch you could leave them in his care and he'll keep them alive, but it's certainly not ideal. He does not have a caregiver's intuition. (nor does he particularly like most animals or kids) Like asking a horse to look after a dog.
8. Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?
In general, he likes a good brain-teaser. Would be adequate at crosswords and sudokus and the like. Unfortunately the only "puzzle" he's dealing with so far is 'how and why the fuck he exists', which is too personal and dire of a mystery to properly enjoy. So in the case of his own puzzling existence he is both intrigued and frustrated.

If Nigel could choose anywhere to visit for a holiday, where would he go?
🤔🤔🤔 hmm, hard to say. Possibly someplace that has a lot of cultural experiences and places to party; most big cities would do. I think he'd love California in general, New York (Broadway), Rio & of course London (to catch all those West End shows).
He's very unlike me in that regard, he'd prefer any place that has a a socially extroverted energy.
How big a role does Uka Uka play in your comics? Will we see him often in the future?
I think I’ve answered a similar question before; but as it stands: no.
I mainly needed him as a catalyst to kick off the origin story and I consider him the LEAST interesting character in the Crashverse, because his whole schtick seems to be ‘RAAAH EVULz!!!’ I honestly had no idea he wasn’t a primordial god of evil, but rather a human shaman possessing a piece of wood until maybe a few months ago. This would be intersting if I had plans to explore his relationship with his brother Thor&Loki style, but I don’t.
Uka Uka is not really a character here, he merely serves an an occasional external force.
I’m more interested in exploring Neofarious' relationship with the other mortal characters.
