Nike has revealed their latest performance sock, the Nike Hyper Elite Basketball Crew Sock. If you’re one of those who has to have the perfect socks to go with your shoes, today is a good day. Offered in a wide array of color combinations, the Hyper Elite socks are an upgrade in both style and function. Specialized cushioning that responds to on-court movements is integrated into the design, which is made of Dri-FIT fabric that draws sweat away from your foot and moves it to the surface of the material. Seemingly every color in the crayon box will be available for your consumption, offering Hyper Elites for any occasion.

NIKE UNVEILS HYPER ELITE PLATINUM UNIFORMS AGAINST "RIVALS"

Nike has just released uniforms for nine basketball programs, including Syracuse, North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, UConn, Arizona, Baylor and Florida...(with Baylor only receiving women's team uniforms).

It looks as if the infatuation with grey is really starting to take over college hoops. However, unlike the "non-elite" schools that wear grey as a permanent alternate, Nike stated that each team would only wear these Hyper Elite “Platinum” uniforms ONCE. That's right...once. With all the promoting and innovative technology research spent into developing laser perforations and fused hems (instead of sewn hems), while making these uni's 5% lighter than the previous Hyper Elite sets, they're only allowing each team 40 minutes to wear them.

Nike also mentioned that the Platinum uniforms will be unveiled "for some of the oldest and strongest rivalries"...but are these rivalries really rivalries? With a closer look, you'll notice that the "rivalries" appear to be between brands. That’s right! It's Nike versus the World...or in this case, Nike versus universities branded by adidas and Under Armour. Smooth move.
