Sometimes, it kind of tickles me that Japan is, in some ways, a 1950s American cartoon character. Or who knows—maybe this is named based on a Spanish drink I have no knowledge of! The real question question: Does it taste good? The answer: It’s cola and lemon and it gets you drunk! It tastes good.

氷結ストロングW ダブルりんご // Hyoketsu Strong W - Double Apple ChuHi If you like the sweetener used in zero-sugar chuhi drinks, this is pretty good. 

氷結清見みかん // Hyoketsu Kiyomi Orange ChuHi I’ve actually bought this multiple times! That’s pretty rare for me. It’s really tasty, with a bright tangerine-y flavor.

氷結ストロング・ブラッドオレンジ // Kirin Hyoketsu Strong: Blood Orange Hyoketsu is widely loved--I’m sad that I can’t drink it (the sweetener they use just gives me the shudders) but I can almost, almost drink this one! And it’s been very popular among people without my bizarre sensitivity. I imagine it will stick around for a while.
