Water ChevrotainĀ
(Hyemoschus aquaticus)
is also known as the fanged deer, it s a small deer-like ruminant that can be found in tropicalĀ AfricanĀ jungles in western and centralĀ AfricaĀ they are short and stock and grow only to 80cm in length and weigh around 10 kilogram.Ā surprisinglyĀ they are good swimmers and divers ,earning the water inĀ theirĀ name, they usually never stray far from a water source as they will jump in to the water when threatened.
