Tutoring || Mason & Phoenix
School was definitely something that came natural for Phoenix. Memorization, taking notes, reading....It was all easy for her. If it wasn't for all the family problems she had going on at the time, and people at school she would've really loved it. Phoenix had been out of school for a little over a year now but every now and then when she wasn't at the gymnastics center she'd pick up some tutoring sessions just for extra money. Which she never really needed, she was pretty well off for a nineteen year old. But when you live alone you need things to fill your time so you're not lonely.
Today Phoenix had someone knew she'd be helping out. His name was Mason and apparently he was struggling in Spanish. This was something she'd be able to help him out with. It was always kind of exciting for her to get new people to help. It was always interesting to see how they learn and react to certain methods. To see how you'd have to break things down to them and explain them. So phoenix was pretty excited to see what Mason would have in store for her.
She arrived to his house perfectly on time. Just as she would do for any other event. She grabbed notebooks, papers, pencils, and pens. Of course she had to be over prepared. Her small feet led her to his front door and knocked. When the door opened her hazel eyes came into contact with a chest. She tilted her head up, and the boy was almost a giant. Completely towering over her 5'1 body. That immediately made her nervous and intimidated. "Uh-----", she sounded completely dumb. "Are, y-yo-u, you Mason." Her eyes were wide and she noticed she should probably relax. She took a deep breath to herself and looked back up at him. "I think I'm your tutor."

buahahah but when all of you guys had summer break I HAD SCHOOL
now the joy of my world is in zion,
Valerie was literally so big now she could barely get up on her own, but seeing that she felt the need to pee every 10 minutes and was hungry all the time, she pulled herself up and did what she needed to do --- that is, until Mason was home and she could just ask him for things, knowing he wouldn't mind and appreciating it a lot. She put the TV remote aside and with a little grunt she pushed herself up and off the couch, one of her hands on her lower back. When she was finally on her feet she sighed, chuckling a little too and making her way towards the kitchen, she needed some water desperately, and maybe a snack too. Finally she got to the fridge and opened it, looking inside for a few seconds before letting out another short sigh and reaching for a bottle of cold water, closing the fridge right after she had it. Except then there was this pang in her belly and Valerie winced, leaning forward, using the fridge as her support. She was instantly scared. Scared that something was wrong with the baby, she was always overly scared about that. Maybe because her habits had never been very healthy and she knew it. She gasped as she felt liquid running down her legs and another pang of pain, and she closed her eyes but now Valerie wasn't as scared because she knew what was happening. And maybe giving birth had always been one of the things that scared her the most but --- she still felt relief to know it wasn't about something being wrong with her child. Taking in a deep breath and letting out a whimper Valerie dragged herself away from the fridge, she needed to get her phone and call Mason. Like 2 minutes later she finally had it in her hands, which were shaking, and after she had dialed his number and put the phone to her ear, one of her hands went back to resting on her stomach. "Mason!" he picked up, thank God, "My..water..broke."
I reached 400+ yay!! So I did this, and the edit ended up sucking...sorrey :~) I'm also pretty sure I forgot like 56843839 people on this but :( I love you all and thank you!!
