Secure Email Systems 1
The words secure and email should never be joined together. Due to the very nature of email it can never be secure. Email was never engineered to be used for communicating confidential information; all email systems can be hacked at some point in the system. Even excellent secure email systems that highly encrypt the email, in transmission. such as hush mail, blackberry email and proofpoint email cannot control the distribution of the communication once it is sent. This lack of control over a confidential email conversation is sufficient reason to not use secure email systems for confidential business conversations than must remain confidential.
