Zhalia: Relax, Casterwill. Look, your sister and I didn’t exactly hit it off when we met either. I want to skip that whole ‘I don’t trust her’ stage this time around, so I made you something that could help you out with the whole Sophie situation. *Tosses book into Lucas’s lap*

Lucas: Oh. Well...Thanks, Zhalia. I guess you aren’t all that bad.

Zhalia: *Sauntering off* Yeah, I get that sometimes. You should probably read that.

Lucas: “Zhalia’s Guide to Self Help for Casterwills.” ...Interesting title.

Lucas: ...

Lucas: All these pages just say ‘Step 1: Don’t be such a dick.’, ‘Step 2: Listen to Sophie.’, and ‘Step 3: Seriously stop being such a dick and work with the Foundation.’

Lucas: ...

Lucas: Oh, there’s something else at the back.

Lucas: ‘Oh yeah, I almost killed your sister at one point but don’t worry, we’re pretty good friends now. If you fuck up being a brother to her I’ll be third in line to kick your ass behind Lok and Dante. Regards, Zhalia Moon.’

Zhalia: *examining Caliban, looks up* You know, your Holotome entry says you're an ancient Aztec warrior.

Caliban: *nods*

Zhalia: ...you don't look very Aztec.

Zhalia: ...Hey Sophie?

Sophie: *in other room* Yes?

Zhalia: ...Your ninja is following me around and staring at me.

Santiago: *crouched behind armchair across from Zhalia and Protective Ninja™ glaring*

Sophie: Oh right. He heard that you tried to kill me, so he’s not really too keen on you in general. Like...at all, really. 

Zhalia: Well could you call him off or something? He’s creepy. 

Sophie: Oh, just ignore him, you’ll be fine. Dante kicked his butt when they met, so he’s still a little sulky that he isn’t the one protecting me all the time now. He’ll get over it.

Santiago: *narrows eyes at Zhalia and firmly shakes head*

Zhalia: ...

Santiago: *’I’m watching you’ fingers*

Zhalia: *’I’m watching you too plus heres my middle finger, ninja boy’ fingers*

Dante: Play nice you two.

Stop staring!

Zhalia: Urgh...

Sophie: What’s wrong?

Zhalia: Didn’t get sleep the last two nights. Damn coffee isn’t working anymore.

Den: *Red faced, slumping off to finish chemistry homework*
