ISFJ cognitive breakdown: Si-Fe-Ti-Ne

Introverted Sensing (Si): Hunk takes care with the little things. He notices details, has a huge store of observations and information in his brain, and prefers the “tried-and-true” methods. He likes knowing what to expect and doesn’t do well with new/unfamiliar situations. He’s down-to-earth and outwardly matter-of-fact (like when he reminds them they’re in an alien cat, etc.). He doesn’t easily forget offenses or slights (Nyma/Rolo and his lists of “I told you so!”’s), but also remembers and takes to heart kind deeds (Shay), and tries his best to make good on those promises. Overall, he’s great with concrete details/facts and it’s clear in the way he's an engineer or a food connoisseur.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Fe is characterized by the desire for social harmony and being perceptive and adaptive to the emotions around them. Hunk has this 100%. Although Hunk’s first instinct (esp with his Si) was to miss home, he realizes after spending time at the Balmera just how many people are truly affected by Zarkon’s rule and that’s what inspires him to fight. He cares about the collective good of all common people and i’s a huge source of his nobility and ultimate desire to defend the universe. Also, just a sidenote, he doesn’t like conflict, and probably hates it the most out of everyone on the team. 

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Despite being warm and emotional in his own way, Hunk displays very sound logic to everything he encounters. He picks apart data and analyzes it critically. He applies practical knowledge and makes logical decisions that coincide with the needs of others through both Fe and Ti. It’s harder to see this as it’s an introverted function, and a tertiary one at that, but I do think Hunk often strives to align thoughts with ideas in a logical way, and he’s got a very clear sense of himself (which is a huge reason why I don’t think he’s an ESFJ).
