I wanted to do this for a long time, to express how much your work means to me. I reread it countless times in the past couple of years, especially since the war started (I'm Ukrainian). Even when I was far from home, in an entirely different country, completely alone, it always felt like I took a part of home and normality with me in the form of your incredible series.

Christ. I'm so, so sorry that this disgusting and unforgiving war has displaced/forced you from your home...and to learn that you're also completely alone? 💔 God, that is heartbreaking. I'm so damn sorry. I can't begin to imagine the pain you've endured and the struggles you've been through.

To learn that my work has given you some sense of home/normality or enjoyment/escape during such a horrific and unimagineable time...I'm at a total loss for words. What you've described speaks to how insanely important stories and characters are...I'm so touched and humbled that the ones which came pouring out of my crazy head connected with you and have stayed with you. That's beautiful.

I don't think I have enough words to describe how much I love it: the writing, the characterizations, the plot, the tension, everything. Your work is one of my all-time favorite pieces of writing and if you ever publish something completely your own, I will buy it in a second.
