I keep hearing a lot of justifications for Israeli actions in Gaza, but I just keep looking at the data. And, I keep thinking: these aren't numbers, they're people-human beings. These are people who never again get to feel rain on their skin, or try to count the stars, or have another dream, or talk to their best friend. These are kids who never get to go to school-they never get a chance to do something extraordinary. These are parents who will have a whole in their heart forever because they're burying their children. So maybe there is some "great good" coming from this, but when I think about the 1,814 human beings who never get to see another sunrise, that's really hard for me to believe.
