A new day meant a new day to have to sit through the torture of school. It was hard enough when he was human but now? Now it truly felt like torture and he didn’t want sit through it but it was better than dealing with the consequences of skipping or dropping out. The hybrid was just grateful that he could at least blend in and pretend he was still human. Didn’t give him many answers though. Hell he didn’t even know the name of the person who’d turned him all he knew was that he was now a werewolf vampire hybrid because of what had all happened after he’d first been turned. he’d had to deal with it himself and he hated it but he’d done it and he was still dealing with it.

“What would you have said if I told you I kissed him, Caroline?” the brunette’s eyebrows wrinkled, arms crossed firmly across her chest. “You’ve never liked or approved of Damon, I didn’t know how to tell you.”

      “Is it safe to assume there’s something drastic going on that you require my assistance with?” Why else she’d seek him out, he’s not entirely certain.

"Try again, Gilbert,” she replied, trying to make her voice sound softer than it usually did.  “You’re in Georgia.  Don’t worry though, these people are great.  They won’t hurt you, ‘cause I told them not to.”

Elijah frowned, but such was the extent of the Original’s expression. “And why do you think I shouldn’t have done so?” His voice, pure neutrality, not even showing the curiosity that lingered at the edge. That might have been hinted at in the words offered themselves. “When I think that here is precisely where my presence is required.”
