These pictures and words cannot begin to describe the pain the city is going through. Intentional wildfires razed the city. The houses lost are between 3000 - 6000. The official death toll is 99 people and hundreds of animals but the numbers could double as many areas of debris have not been searched and some bodies may have simply been disintegrated, while also having aprox 400 people unaccounted for. The bodies left on the streets are being eaten by dogs

People burned in their homes, in their cars, in the streets. They ran but the fire ran faster. Entire families have been lost, the damage is irreparable. Stories of bravery are abundant but also are those of tragedy. ok so i usually don’t post much of this stuff but we are really in need right now. I’m Venezuelan and right now in my country is happening the worst crisis we have ever ever had in pretty much our whole history, and we decided that we had enough of it, enough because its honestly HONESTLY unmanageable it has become impossible to be a functional human being that’ll think further than what and how i’m going to eat this week, and for a lot of people its more of a daily struggle than a weekly one (i’m one of the FEW lucky ones who can still eat 3 times at day). And that its just ONE, one thing of the huge list of problems we have right now. 

So almost 3 month ago the big useless pieces of crap (which are also big fat Narcos) that we has a government decided to pretty much delete the assembly, the congress that we voted for and was our first big victory against the gross ass chavism/socialism/communism we have been living now for about 18 years now (yes, i’m 21 and haven’t live like ever a change of government, when it happened i was 2 years old so i don’t remember anything) and we decided to take a stand because since that day they made OFFICIAL the dictatorship they are imposing on us, and we had enough, we are tired of this, we are hungry, and we are MAD AS FUCK we started protesting and by now we’ve around 2 full months of resistance and by far they have killed around 50 people, hundreds of wounded and around 2000 people have been arrested, and the majority of them are under 30 years old, we are being killed by our own army, our own cops and most important by our own government, so what would you do if the people that are supposed to be there to protect you are the ones that kill you?, all this considering that we have a rate of 28k deaths per homicide per year and Caracas is right now the most dangerous city in the world, we add that and also the people and kids that are dying ‘cause of starvation and because they can’t find the medicines when they’re sick since 80% of the medical supplements and medicines can’t be found (and maybe even more), and well that’s pretty much a resume of our reality right now, so here i’m asking you guys out there to help. 

I’m gonna leave a youtube video from a Venezuelan/American comedian/youtuber that tells you 3 simple ways of helping, it doesn’t necessary need to be with money, but if you can it would be very very appreciated. i wouldn’t be asking for help if i didn’t need it but this an extreme case.
