The Ehang 184 is a large size drone capable of carrying human passenger and fly for 23 minutes. Kind of like a flying car except it doesn’t run like a car on the road. It just flies up and down to and from your destination.
This Human Drone uses a large battery that charges up electronically for only 2 hours. It can reach a maximum altitude of 11,000 feet and speed up to 63 Miles per hour speed. The cabin is also fully air-conditioned.
You don’t need to know how to fly to use the Ehang 184 human drone. Everything that this drone does is fully autonomous. All you need to do is tap the location and instructions on the iPad size display inside the cockpit.
The Ehang human drone can automatically land on a near-by safe location if it fails. The computer is also designed with full redundancy to ensure safety.
The company who built this drone is Ehang Inc. and they hope to sell it to public for $250,000 USD.
Ehang is known for their Ghost drone which is similar to DJI Phantom and 3DR Solo.
