#human decency?

And I need help deciding if my feelings are valid or not. As I recently posted, I have to have my gallbladder removed. For over two weeks now, I've been extremely sick. Like, not being able to eat, sleeping 18 hours a day, throwing up, having vertigo, and lots of other stuff. When it first hit, I ended up in Urgent Care with an IV in my arm, blood tests, and an ultrasound of my gallbladder, and there's been more doctor appointments and hospital visits from there. And the thing is, my roommate hasn't asked about it ONCE. And I know she knows. I've mentioned it on Facebook a couple times, and she's been in the room with me while I've talked to friends, family, and doctors about it.

We've never really been friends, but I've always made it a point to ask her how she's doing, how her days gone, and invite her to hang out if I have friends over (because she just moved here and doesn't seem to have many friends). And I've just started to realize, she hasn't even done that.
