What a weird ass movie, man 😅 Something between a creature feature and a psychological horror. Finish film written and directed by a woman. The story is centered around a young gymnast and her social media-obssessed mother. The overly-worked girl finds an egg and nurses it to maturity. Weirdness ensues. Definitely dark and disturbing in parts. Overall, entertaining in its strangeness and worth checking out. Sort of a slow crawl toward a climax that's not how I would have ended it, but it's interesting. 7/10 for being unique and effective. Streaming on Hulu.
