Unable to see your hand while drawing? Hand shaking while drawing the lines? Try the following methods and get the smooth and clean lines!

1. Loose your grip

The more relaxed you hold the pen, the smoother the line will be. If you hold the pen with too much grip, the line will lack of various and look unnature. Try to finish the line with one stroke, do not trace or draw on one line multiple times. If you unsatisfied with the result, just draw a new line.

2. Speed is the key

The faster you draw a line, the less the wobble will appear. A long line requires a long lever, For longer lines, pivot from your elbow; when drawing short lines, pivot from your fingers or wrist.

3. Rotate your canvas

When you encounter an angle that is hard to draw, you can rotate the canvas to a better angle. Try to direct your strokes towards yourself, it’s a better way to control the strength of your hand. It is recommended that you practice at a different angles.

4. Control the weight at the tip of the line

When drawing the lines, pay attention to the weight of the lines. Apply less pressure on tip of the line and put more weight in the middle of the line. In this case, when you connect multiple lines together, it will less likely appear intermittent lines.
