bucky used to think him and steve were the furthest any pair of best friends could go, then he hears about ling and huiching and realises there's a whole 'nother level above him and steve's friendship.
then he hears ling say "i think i wanted to marry her once" and bucky's whole worldview flips.
meanwhile sam has the most deadpan expression on his face; "are you being for real? it took ling admitting her past love for her late best friend for you to realise that you and steve were a terrible rendition of high school sweethearts?"
