Finally started the final book in The Broken Earth trilogy. I’ve been holding off because I don’t want it to end. I’ve been reading sci-fi since 1983 and I’ve only ever been knocked flat by two series: Dan Simmons’ Hyperion Cantos and N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth trilogy. Both are brilliantly plotted, eloquently written, and perfectly executed.
So excited to start reading this!!! Everything about this series is amazing.
Finally settling down to read this. Amazing world building and I love a book that drops you into the world and makes you figure things out. Throw in a little lgbtq representation and I’m hooked. No wonder this won the Hugo.
