I’d waited for the time you’d say you’d missed me, and that you want me back; that the thought of leaving me was drowning you at night just when you turn off the lights. That what you have right now is slowly falling apart and you need me --- you need my “goodmorning baby” texts every morning and “sleepwell baby” texts at night.

But the thing is, I got tired. I got tired of waiting and hoping you’d come back, just like in the movies. I got tired of knowing I’m not the context of your facebook status anymore. Tired of assuming I’m still the one you’d like to spend to. I’ve grown tired of everything. Maybe I don’t want tears on my pillow... not anymore. We are always left to be ‘just’ a lesson for both us. And I thank you for that.
