“If you want ‘em, I’ll knick ‘em for you.”

Those were the first words she said to him.  Far more interesting than a ‘hello’, definitely more creative than a pick up line.  When he turned away from the rows of candy bars to meet her kohl-lined eyes he felt his heart go a little off rhythm.  She was a beautiful, sloppy thing of sunken eyes, ratty clothes and smeared lipstick.  Like some pouty cover album Siouxsie Sioux vision come to life.

He never did encourage her, nor did he stop her, even when she reached out to palm a few bars from the different boxes to drop them into her large bulky purse.  It was like a black hole in that thing.  Miller’s eyes watched them get swallowed up.  Then she was turning away, without any sign of guilt or nerves, to amble with a glum sort of grace to the exit.

The witch hesitated, staring in the direction she had gone, right up until the bell had stopped jingling when she left.  Then Miller darted out to catch her.  She was already tearing open the corner of a Mars bar with her teeth.  When he caught up beside her she handed it to him, half bitten.  “I’m keeping most of ‘em.  Though I guess you can have a few.  I don’t usually care much for sweets.”

You are a goddess.  How the hell do you even exist?  Can I share your air for, like, an hour?  All of those thoughts crossed his mind, and each of them was considered fleetingly as possible conversation bits before he thought better of them.  What he eventually came up with was far more simple:  “Are you doing anything tonight?  There’s this venue a few blocks down that I can sneak us in to the back of, if you wanna crash a band’s backstage party?  Bet they’ll have a whole spread of food.”

“Yeah?”  Her tone was interested without being committed.  She switched off from the candy to a thin, brown, hand-rolled cigarette.  Miller was pretty certain the lighter she used to light it had been in his pocket five minutes ago.  It’s a worthwhile sacrifice but he subtly touches to make sure his wallet is still accounted for.  “I guess I can waste some time.”

An awkward, stiff angled hand was held up at him without her missing a step as she continued beside him.  “Margot.”

......why you gotta start with the pain

1.if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

i really like this question. its difficult as fuck but i rlly like it. 

read: this is rlly hard, bc do i go like my fav book, or the one i related to most? also, all of my books are in storage so i dont even remember all my options. maybe all for the game, just bc i loved the characters so much. or maybe IT, bc i loved all of it sm. maybe ari and dante, bc i related to ari on crazy levels. if it was an ooption, then just straight up all the poems ive written. probably the raven cycle, bc i loved almost everything about it (this is soo long sorry)

watch: idk probably the x files. i dont watch a lot of tv, but i loved the x files so much. its probaby my favorte show. or no!!! stranger things aybe. just bc that rlly put me like in the show in a strangely nostalgic way.  probbably the x files tho. maybe f.r.i.e.n.d.s or eyewitness or signs(the movie, bc that is so scary one of the best scary movies.)

listen to: it changes a lot. sometimes folksy stuff, like regret by wye oak. usually alternative? like temporary love by the brinks, we only attack ourselves by funeral suits (!!!this one a lot), foreground by grizzly bear. i like stuff with a lot of rythm, but like pretty rythem. (at this percise exact moment i rlly love writer in the dark by lorde. a++++ listen)

2.have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

not really. i like certain wrks, but i dont usually feel a connection to the writer.

all for the game: either renee or neil. eyewitness: philip, my boy, my son. supernatural: castiel. the song of achiles: patroculus. ari and dante: ari. b99: probably gina. the raven cycle: adam, probably more than ive ever related to any character ever. on another note, i was not a huge fan of adam. 

16.if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?

its hard to say. i think that at my core, i would have been the same. but it also depends on what wouldve changed. like for instance, ive moved around a good bit, and maybe if id stayed in one place id have more friends. but, on the other hand, i might not have ended up reflecting as much on what i value in people. as it is, i think  that all of the things that really make me myself, would stay the same, if not taking a bit longer to develop

19.which Harry Potter house would you be in? or are you a muggle?

i think id probably slytherin, but i could also prob be gryffindor. ml slytherin. id like to say id be a wizard, there is a chance id be like a squib instead

ah shit. 1. doing random shit on internet, 2. staring at the wall (seriously. i stare at nothing and just think for a very very long time), 3. reading, 4. on phone, 5. writing
