I'm not usally like this. || Eli & Tiffany
Eli sat quietly at the Three Broomsticks, staring down at his almost empty glass of firewhisky. He'd never been one to drink but the loneliness of being back at school without any familiar faces or his boyfriend to keep him occupied had somehow brought him to the bar. He'd quietly sat, nursing the drink until the liquid warmed him inside. He knew that none of the current situation was anyone's fault but that just made it worse. It was easier when you had something or someone to blame, much easier.
Tilting his head back, he finished the harsh substance. It was amazing how quickly you got accustomed to the taste and burn of the alcohol. He still didn't see how people drank so quickly and often but he was starting to get the idea of why they drank. Compared to earlier, when he'd wandered about the castle alone, he was feeling much better here. He was still alone really, but felt less self conscious about it. Maybe a little too relaxed, he thought to himself as he crossed his arms and rested his chin on his hands. The room was not exactly as straight as he had thought it was, and stool he was perched upon almost seemed to shift beneath him.
