It's hypnotic to see you on stage, how every movement is so precise and flows in continuation with their predecessors, how each note hangs in the air for just the right amount of time before you move on to the next one. The energy sizzling through your body while you dance, the emotion that flows in your veins while you sing, the love that pours through every word of the lyrics, the passion that completely consumes you while you perform, the adrenaline pumping throughout your body before every show. But perhaps, those eye smiles and fluffy rice cake cheeks act as a mask, concealing all the hurt and criticism, concealing the vulnerable, scared side that lies beneath. Maybe, it is that part which makes him not love his own skin, the part which causes an exuberant amount of self-loath upon making the simplest of mistakes and the part which he feels is to be well hidden from ARMYs. He lets those gruelling black spells of rain damage his own body, not realizing that we’ll always act as the yellow umbrella protecting him from all evil.
