The initial briefing for the Artist Typeface brief established an exciting aura and a certain degree of adventure within the fields of design. I preliminary felt engaged toward my plans and aspirations concerning how I would transcribe my typeface and also well reserved to the indications and expectations of typography as a design practice. 

Throughout the project, I feel confident in the fact that I have further developed my research skills and adapted to increasingly intuitive strategies concerning the sources of my findings. This project has expanded my database of research navigation and employment concerning the library archive, web and interactive locations.

Another beneficial element this brief has brought upon me is the open-minded approach I adopted to explore other realms of design practice concerning themes of Art, Architecture and Fashion. This has most definitely expanded my knowledge of the various artistic fields. 

To diversify my work ethic, I decided that a sketchbook approach would be necessary in terms of typographic design. The positives I have gathered from this concern my realisation that drawing and analogue exploration isn't my strongest way of communication both visually and narratively. 

The transcription element of this project has highlighted the importance of experimentation and how it can be used to form a structure approach to a final design. This definitely aided in progression and added a form a self constructive criticism to select and identify weaknesses in my initial designs.

To conclude the positives, I definitely feel this project has expanded my knowledge of Adobe In Design which will soon prove a vital tool in my studies. 

Arguing against my aforementioned views, I have to admit that the brief seemed very uninteresting and directed a monotonous process throughout. The brief seemed rushed and didn't express the use of Typography within Graphic Design as an imperative aspect. 

In addition. I believe the submission strategy in digital format didn't compliment the work process and would've been much more welcomed in the more digital projects from the first term.
