it took little to no time for protoman and megaman to get used to fighting alongside each other. they fell into their usual patterns, easily syncing with each other. they understood each other without saying anything and could move with ease. they needed minimal preparation for the competition, but they still spared a good few times. it was enjoyable after all. protoman always found himself enjoying his time with megaman.
the day of the competition came quite quickly, but no one was anxious about it. both netnavis along with their netops were confident in their skills. there was no need to worry. and this showed during the competition. they had little to no difficulty rising in the ranks. their abilities were unrivaled as always. no one stood a chance against them. after taking down the last of their opponents and receiving their award, protoman smiled and pat megaman on the back. “good job. i expected no less from you, megaman. i’m glad we got to fight together like this again.”
