Astrological Psychosynthesis by Bruno Huber was one of the first books I bought when I started learning astrology. I was already very interested in psychology, so the idea of exploring personality and development through astrology fascinated me. I thought the book would help me understand how a birth chart could describe the way someone thinks, learns and develops.

Then I opened it... and had almost no idea what I was reading. 😂 The Huber method was far too advanced for me at that stage. It covered aspect figures, aspect colours, personality planets and different thinking types. I could tell there was something fascinating in it, but I did not yet know enough astrology to understand how everything fitted together. Even so, the method stayed with me.

Years later, that early fascination eventually became the Astrological Intelligence & Age Point report on my site. Recently, I’ve been expanding one part of it in particular: Huber aspect figures.

Most astrology students already know patterns such as the Grand Trine, T-Square, Kite and Yod. Huber went much further, identifying dozens of different figures created by the aspects between planets. Some describe how you learn and process information. Some show patterns where you repeatedly get stuck. Others can point to abilities that come so naturally that you may never have thought of them as skills.

And some of the names are wonderful: Magic Cap, Butterfly, Trawler, Bathtub, Megaphone, Bijou and many more. The report can now identify all 47 Huber aspect figures in your chart using Huber’s own orb table. Some are relatively common, while others are genuinely unusual.

For every figure found, the report shows which planets form it and explains what the pattern may suggest about the way you think, learn, respond to pressure and approach problems.
