Roho spent another night tossing and turning. In a cold sweat, his eyes finally shot open. The lion sat up and took a moment to gather his composure before looking out to the open savanna through the cave’s opening. The darkness of the night was beginning to be burned away by the sun’s light.
Reds and yellows began to fill to early morning sky as the lion walked out from his hiding spot. With a heavier sigh, the lion began to walk, just to get his mind off of things. Looking forward again, Roho saw a familiar landmark; the shimmering blue surface had caught his attention. Roho’s pace quickened as his he knew exactly where he was. The waterhole.
