Scorpia lit up with a brilliant smile, brighter than the noon day sun. “Yes it is! How did you know? Oh my goodness, are you psychic!? Can you communicate with the dead in like a séance or such? Oh this is so exciting!”

It was a little funny to picture Catra, dour and small, being carried under one of Scorpia’s arms. Glimmer is pretty sure that is not how the two spent their time talking together, but it’s the first thing to register.

“Ooooor maybe Catra did make it here and spoke about us.” Entrapta suggested.

Glimmer wasn’t sure why she broke into a bit of cold sweat when both women turned to await her answer. “Uhm, y-yes, Catra’s talked quite a bit about you both.”

They both cheered and this time it was very endearing to her even if she had a feeling today just got a lot more complicated. Scorpia suddenly stopped and grumbled, “Aw shoot, that means no on doing a séance then?”

“...no, I cannot hold a séance. Why are you wanting to hold a séance!?”

After the anniversary of her daddy's death, Glimmer has a few revelations that are really only surprising to her and finally gets the gumption to do something about it.

Catra hadn't known what to say when Glimmer saw her leaving the station, but the two rode home while chatting easily enough. Like…like it weren’t no big thing at all. But it was a big deal. She’d gone to work, felt good about her work, spoke with several people, and got to watch the beautiful colors of the sunset paint the woman she loved in spectacular light.

And if felt so damn nice to let it quietly be.

Glimmer has allowed me to make progress at the expense of getting to be sappy with Catra sooner. Oh no. Whatever shall I do?

“Mornin’,” Glimmer whispered.

Catra looked up with unfocused and bleary eyes, before closing them again and grunting. “Mmm.”

She snickered softly to herself and petted down Catra’s arm. “That’s all you got to say to me on this fine and beautiful morning?”

“Mmm.” And there was the sleepy grin she loved.

“Mmm.” Glimmer echoed.

Glimmer didn’t forgive. She held grudges forever. She remembered every slight and every mistake. She told people she forgave them far more than she ever actually meant it, because that’s what was expected of her. If someone hurt her she wanted undeniable proof that they wouldn’t do that ever again before she’d even give them a snow ball’s chance in hell.
