you guys are probably on crack but are also the best people ive met to be real fucking honest, this hs experience is so much better having inside jokes and talking with you lot and scream about the small things and laugh the whole time <333

and for character TV tropes?? jeeeez okay

i could actually do this fairly easy, because if a director were to make a TV show about them, they’d obviously be placed in the “stereotypical” categories as such:

jade would be the nerdy girl who always does their homework and knows pretty much everything just because she has glasses since they tend to do that in shows jesus. producers never know when to not make this role, huh? but secretly she’s a badass and just loves doing what she does which is handle guns, pet dogs and jump from the roof of her house on a zip-line

john would be the funny one thats friends with everyone, because EVERY TV show has a comic relief and that comic relief will be john egbert because he’s funny. sadly, the comic relief is only there to bring humour and is often overlooked. :(( where’s my comic relief rights???

now dave, even tho hes obviously not, he would be placed as the jock who thinks hes “too cool for school” and everyone swoons over. despite this not being who he really is as a character, since homestuck pretty much makes their characters so unique and special, most TV usually have this role and dave would probably be placed in it yikes.
