A Time Traveling National Park
When I first read this bill, I thought about the end of federalism and how dumb it is that New Mexico has to ask Congress to change the boundaries of a forest (alright, it's a *National* forest, but there's still land ownership issues at stake...). Β And then I looked again....
New Mexico wants the new borders of the park (which were also potentially adjusted in 2010???) to be RETROACTIVE to 1965!!! Β
Why?
I don't know, but there's money changing hands somewhere...
