i don’t think anyone really understands what i mean when i say the hp universe is my home. the characters, the magic, the adventure, the world. it’s embedded into my childhood and will forever remind me of being an innocent child. so trusting, so easily able to just—believe. it brought the magic into my life. forever reminding me of child wonder. the way a kid can just put their complete trust in believing. and oh how magical it felt. i’m grateful to have had it as i’ve grown because without it my life would surely feel unfulfilling and empty. like a piece was missing from it. this franchise saved my life. it brought me my love of reading when i was young. the characters made me feel less alone and completely worthy of love. the stories and characters will always bring me such comfort. that universe is my whole world. i wouldn’t have a home if it didn’t exist. harry potter is my past, present, and future. there will never be a time where that story won’t matter to me.
