i think it'd be neat if kaiba doesn't remember anything explicitly or even vaguely, but rather gets plagued with constant nostalgia when he and atem take a vacay to egypt & visit the ishtars. all the ruins and sights give him a mix of happiness and sorrow that he can't quite place, though he knows it's similar to how he felt when he was reconstructing the millennium puzzle (assuming dsod is a part of the au)
