One of the goals of Achievement Age is to give the readers plenty of choice. It will be organized so anyone who follows the blog can vote on the next quest, quest party, and major decisions made by the characters. How Achievement Age progresses it practically out of my hands in term of plot (aside from prominent plot points from Dragon Age II), character interactions, relationships, and romance.
The process will go like this:
I will post a quest/list of quests with location and objective. If there are multiple quests, there will be a vote for which quest through both replies to the post and asks. Also, quests that are character specific/locked will be specified.
After the quest is chosen, if it is not character specific or has a locked party, voting will open for the party leader and the other three party members. The party leader is the character that will ultimately make the decisions similar to the Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor. The other party members are along for support and can affect the outcome of the quest as well.
After the party members are chosen the quest begins. Quests will be presented as a mixture of text and art to go along with major plot points, character interactions, and then finally with the readers’ choice at the end.
Each quest post will follow this format until the final part of the quest which will have a review of the quest in terms of objective, loot, and changes in character relationships.
All of these things will be recorded on a separate post and updated over time as quests are finished.
And then the whole process repeats itself with a new quest and a chance to change up the party.
As of the creation of this post, the only party members available for the first quest are Gavin, a human mage, and Dan, a human warrior, with Gavin locked in as the party leader. Also, at this moment there are going to be up to seven party members available but depending on the scale and speed in which the series advances, there will be an opportunity for more party members to be added.
-  More party members beyond the original seven: Gavin, Dan, Jack, Ryan, Michael, Ray, and Geoff. (Team Let’s Build is in the works.)
- Â Reader submitted quest ideas/objectives.
- Â May shift toward a comic format over time if that becomes possible with my limited art skills and is requested.
