My garden is a reflection of me.
It is drying up and produces nothing, with the exception of some large hornworms, aphids and a few other pests.
I believe my husband (I have a hard time using that word because he is NOT a husband) is deliberately letting things go because I have my family to care for. He mocks me and is unbelievably spiteful. Using every opportunity to smirk or say something bad towards my family. I have put up with all his family’s request when they were alive which lasted more than 20years. Always feeling like it was my responsibility as a wife. I picked my battles carefully because of the children. He pretends he doesn’t know what to do. Can’t tell when to water or pull weeds. He’s only done this for the past 5 years or better but now he’s suddenly become ignorant of these things. Even when a plant is drooping in the pot, obviously needing water. I am so over this but I am so broke I can’t find my way out. He doesn’t work and is always under me like a toddler needing approval, which I can’t give. He needs a mama, he doesn’t work and I know it’s because he’s worn his egotistical self out with any and everyone he knows.
God where do I go from here? I can’t believe you want me to live like this but I don’t see any path to follow out of here.
The Bible says you have not because you do not ask. I’ve always been afraid to ask because I felt my request were selfish. And yes this request is selfish but I will die if I don’t get out of here.
Jesus you came to give us life and give it more abundantly. I’ll be 64 soon and I feel like I’m 80. I am asking you now, to remove this thorn so I may live life more abundantly and show the grace you truly have through me. I believe, but perhaps I should pray about my unbelief so you can proceed with your marvelous work.
