Bannerfall AU where the Creaking King just... never existed. The dungeon is just a random dungeon where you fight random monsters, like it was in the trailer of the smp, and well you can actually die in it if you're not careful and it does have some sort of monster on top you have to defeat but there's not the whole taunting and everything, it's just some funky creature that guards the place and can't really die so knights use it as a punching bag. It wouldn't necessarily guarantee a happy ending, but it would change a lot of things, wouldn't it?
