[Whiskey ramblings, pt 1]
There is a horrible truth to need. It is human, of course, so very human. And it hurts, as all human things do. But it comes so naturally. It sinks into you, like teeth, and it takes things from you. Forces vulnerability onto you. Digs pits in your stomach and takes that flesh, steals, dirties, boils. Boils inside of you. And you can just take it, you can give in. Most do. Most fall to it, give in, crumble.
This is disgusting to me, and the disgustingness is disgusting to me. Need is weakness, and at the same time, the not being able to handle that need- that is also weakness. An inability. Some desperate and pathetic inability to handle any kind of need or want, the specific kind that lives in your stomach and twists it when you don't get what you want. When your heart yearns and wishes, and then breaks, and crumbles.
It's best to avoid these things altogether.
No sense in them.
