just realized the only female tank character in marvel rivals is peni and it’s only bc she has giant robot armor and now i am. thinking.
#out of the blue thought i know and also no one else will care lmfao#it’s just that this is tickling the retired academic in me that wants to analyze this#and like. write a paper on it or something.#how curious.#who in the marvel lore could even stand in as a female tank?#she hulk would be the most obvious answer but hulk is already a tank#i’m thinking maybe captain marvel but with her powers she’d for sure get shoehorned into a dps role#it’s not even about skill set tho it’s about aesthetic#and with the obvious current trend in the design of the female characters in rivals it feels like the likelihood#of ever getting a female tank is low. because you can’t make cutesy little girls a big bad tank. right.#and you for SURE can’t design a big buff lady. because those aren’t real. right.#i want to do like full fledged research on this#there is so much to be said about the character designs in rivals and the roles that many characters play#a lot of very curious insights to be made#video games#game development
