Mafumafu starts this nama screaming high pitches & strumming his guitar, before reading out the usual first 100 users to comment

Mafumafu remarks that it’s been a long time since he’s held a namahousou, and laughs a little guiltily. He says Niconama hasn’t been working well for him as of late, and because his broadcasts tend to fill up quickly, he’s been using twitcast so everyone interested can listen.

“Datsugoku” Upload

Mafumafu: “I released "Datsugoku" yesterday! Neru-san even LINE-ed me saying how great the cover was, and I was happy b/c he doesn't say it much” 

Mafumafu: “Datsugoku was especially difficult to sing b/c it was both high-pitched & high-tempo, whereas a slow song like Machibouke's more doable” (strums a few guitar chords and belts out the chorus's high point) "You see, I can still do this highness sitting down cross-legged, but when the highness is paired w/ Datsugoku, my voice ends up thin & with the song goes "unyunyunyunyu", my body subconsciously moves around when I’m recording and ends up at different distances from the mic throughout the process.”

Gochiusa Event with Amatsuki

Mafu: "I had Amatsuki accompany me, & not only did he go all the way there but I also told him it'd be rude to see Gochiusa in weird clothes so we went to buy new clothes and have our hair set (in the salon) just for the event"

Mafu: “My friends were complaining that my namas were just too boring, so I told them "it's b/c you don't send me fanmail"! So they sent me fanmail”

Funifuni-san (T/N: Funifuni – onomatopoeia of caressing a fluffy object), good evening I always enjoy listening to Funifuni-san’s radio. This time, your album “Clock Croissant Story” with Soruto-san was also very wonderful. Among those songs, I like “Tachiiri Kinshi” (No Trespassing) the most. I am a grandpa turning 80-years-old this year, but I have fun listening to you with my grandchild. Please try your best from now on as well.

P.S. I assume you are trying so hard that your hair has become white, but what sort of meaning does the barcode on your cheek have? I am so curious about it that I cannot sleep at night. Please take care of your health and the like and work hard.

Mafumafu’s Response: (Translated from his actual words)

This is… this is one of those messages that want to pick a fight, isn’t it? This Tengetsu-san’s someone who tries instigating things. But this person probably has nothing to do with Amatsuki-san right? Since their names are different.

Our album name has ended up sounding quite delicious… wow, I have such a wonderful friend.

Even though he went out of his way to accompany me to the Gochiusa event, even though he watched through 2 entire seasons of 12 episodes, a total of 24 episodes for the event, I thought he had become a true friend of mine but this is a complete retraction of that statement. What should I do, what should I do to him… Well whatever

(Reads the P.S. about the barcode again) He always comes to attack my barcode… Ah, there may be new listeners in this broadcast, so I’ll explain: this barcode is stuck on my left cheek, but the 2-D Mafumafu has white hair. Meanwhile, the 3-D Mafumafu has brown hair, so in order to link the two, I put my barcode into a barcode reader that “beeps” me into the virtual world and synchronizes me into the 2-D Mafumafu. Everyone, did you know that? This is an extreeeemely important point of me, so please remember that. Tengetsu, don’t you forget about it.

I entered the twitcast in the middle, so obviously I didn’t get to hear everything but it was fun!  (｡･ω･｡) Enjoy this informal report I drafted from bits that I still remember  (*＾＾*):

kain feels that sometimes, Mocha-chan (his pet) has the face of an alien (b/c of the big eyes & small face), but he thinks she’s still cute.

He sang a bit of “Dragon Night” & “unravel”, and it was amazing.

He participated in an Utattemita no Hon photoshoot recently and though one photo has already been posted on twitter, he showed another one with him playing the recorder on the twitcast today! His face was visible there too ⊂((・▽・))⊃ I screenshot-ed the photo, but since kain said not to put it on twitter, etc, I won’t be posting it publicly. 

He whined that his legs always look short in the photos, and sometimes he sees people on twitter saying that and finds that a bit exasperating.

He did a cicada impression and seemed extremely proud of it lol

kain apparently doesn’t have a TV, so he doesn’t really know about a lot of celebrities. Everyone in the comments then started naming off actresses/idols/etc, and for some reason the conversation took a turn to a discussion about AV (AV=adult video) celebrities. kain said that there was a time when his friends were talking about AV actresses, but he knew pretty much nothing about it and had to try hard to name one actress who’s already normally known by people in Japan.

Even though he barely knows one AV actress, he easily recalled two AV actors (i.e guys) off the top of his head www

When asked what he liked in a girl, he replied that he didn’t really have any preferences, other than just seeing that she’s a nice girl.

Someone asked if kain was gay, and he replied that even though he isn’t, if he feels romantic feelings toward a guy he wouldn’t care or be opposed. Another person then asked “Is Rairu your boyfriend?”, to which he slyly said, “(My relationship with) Rairu is a secret, you know”. 

During kain’s last year of high school, he had a girl he liked but had no intentions of confessing so high school ended without anything happening. 

When asked whether he was popular at school, kain said in middle school, he received 27 boxes of chocolate. Immediately after revealing that, he said he’d stop talking about this b/c luz would get jealous/angry at him for it.

During his first year of high school, kain was confessed by a 3rd year guy upperclassman in the gym. On top of that, kain didn’t even know the guy’s name.

kain had his first kiss, and it was a kiss on the ear. During elementary school, a girl’s lips went into his ear (is what he literally said www)

This is my first time doing a namahousou report, so it’s probably a bit too wordy ;;w;; I was only able to listen to the later part of the housou due to over-capacity (+ my derping really hard), but amachu was nice enough to share her recording on tumblr!

Mafumafu said he would release an album crossfade, but since Mafuteru is busy, it might end up being released at ~4/15? Mafumafu says he himself is not busy though lol

He played a little bit of two of his album tracks: one in the middle (Neru’s, since he just covered Neru’s “Shounen Shoujo Chameleon Syndrome”) and another at the very end (Last Note’s, since he was watching the housou)! 

Mafumafu has become an uncle (again)! His older brother now has a second child, and he really wanted to meet his brother and celebrate, but he couldn’t go in the end.

Mafumafu really, really wants people to comment their thoughts on his covers (He’s said this before too)! Things such as whether it was good, bad, etc! He half-jokingly said that if there aren’t many of these comments, he’ll think that not many people are listening and may want to disappear and suddenly stop all of his activities. 

When Mafumafu was singing “Shounen Shoujo Chameleon Syndrome”, he was near emotional/mental collapse. Mafumafu’s already told this to Soraru, but recently, he’s been going to bed at around 5 at dawn. However, around 30 minutes after laying down & sleeping in his futon, his eyes will suddenly open and he won’t know whether he’s in a dream or not, and with tears filling his eyes, he’ll wake up screaming “Uwahhhhhh” and fall off his bed before calming down and realizing, “Oh, it’s okay, it’s okay”. Since this was just too terrible, he decided to sing this song (to let out his feelings). 

He speculates that his emotional state recently is terrible because of his bad eating habits. For today, he only had a granola bar, corn flakes, milk, and black tea. Also, Mafumafu’s been in the habit of sleeping at 6 AM and waking up at 10 AM ;;A;; (But the granola bar is yummy, he says)

In ChoVoMas (Cho Vocaloid Master) / Chokaigi, he’s in his selling circle (Mafumarepu Syndrome) for 4/25. On 4/26, it will become Urata’s booth, but he’ll be there helping out with sales.

One fan asked how long Mafumafu had been playing the guitar, to which he went into deep thought and at first replied “…over 6 (years)?” before saying he’s basically always played it, though he says he’s still super bad at it (/whispers it’s a lie). 

Apparently, after the radio, Mafumafu couldn’t get the fast tongue-twisters out of his head, so he tried to challenge and prove once and for all that he could do it with this nama. However, all the listeners then started teasing him about still having to do the sit-ups if he failed and he said it was unfair that he has to do it outside of the radio. Before he started, Mafu took several deep breaths to get ready, and he noted that the him right now is even more serious than when he is composing songs www 

During the first try, Mafumafu pronounced it pretty well but rather slowly. Last Note was also in the namahousou then, so he, along with other fans, teased Mafumafu on being slow, to which Mafumafu denied before trying again faster. However, this time, he screwed up and even went off-mic to practice a bunch of times (audibly failing during those times). After sighing and rhetorically asking whether he should just end the housou now, Mafumafu actually started doing sit-ups, saying that it was unbelievable that he was being strangled by the very punishment game that he himself created. 

Even though he can’t do tongue twisters, he believes he’s still pretty good at singing, and demonstrated a bit of RADWIMP’s “Setsunarensa” with his guitar, which had lyrics in English! This song was one that had been released back when Mafumafu was in his teens, but since it’s been a while since he opened the Chord-Wiki (for the guitar chords & lyrics) for the song, he’s now thinking, “Wait? Was it always such a difficult song?”. In the end, he sorta gave up since it was kinda turning into an entirely different song, but he promised that he’ll perform it well in a later namahousou or live someday (though he later said “forget what I just said” and that “it might be years into the future”). He might record it when he sings the song in karaoke. For today, he was going to play Minecraft since he went out of his way to buy it, but it wouldn’t work, so he basically did nothing for the whole day. Pretty much the only thing he did today was say fast tongue twisters on namahousou www
