arms folded across his chest, inuyasha turned his head away from the monk with his nose half in the air. what they’d come across was nothing more than a minor inconvenience; or, at least, that’s how the hanyou had viewed it. 

it was getting late, their party having stopped for the night but inuyasha had little desire to sleep if he had hit his way, they’d keep going until dawn but knew that the rest of the group had made it clear they needed to stop to rest. why the two men had allowed their wives to join, inuyasha wasn’t sure, though he knew with the way kagome had practically begged to tag along, it was nearly impossible for him to say no.
