But I did get tagged by @dragoneyes to do a fic thing, so I'm going to do that instead. The rules were to post the names of all your WIPS, and let people send asks with names and then either post a snippet or tell them something about it.

So I'm gonna do that, but with all the unfinished Hours bits and shitposts. One day I'll have the words to finish something again. XDDD

Anyway. Sorry I've been so quiet around here recently. I am still alive, I just gotta get past whatever is keeping me from doing any like... actual serious words.

Here we are, at lucky seven years!

I’ll spare you all my usual mush. I’m glad you guys are here and that I can still work on this thing I love so much. And with my co-author, because we’ve been planning this particular thing since 2021.

Personally, I would consider this the “grand finale” of the series, for reasons that should be obvious by the end. Not to say that there won’t be more; I’ve learned not to promise that. Hell, I’ve got at least one oneshot written that can’t be posted until after this, because it’s a spoiler. X’D And there’s plenty of shenanigans on the Other Side to explore, too. But this is something we’ve worked hard on, so…

Sixth Hours anniversary! Wow... I'm still consistently amazed at how far this has come, and how much fun I'm having. And I'm glad that so many of you are still along for the ride.

So, as is customary, a few updates:

The timeline has been updated, to add new bits, make it easier(?) to read, and better reflect the whole "time has gravity" concept. The link has also been updated on the masterpost.

Patchwork Hearts' final chapter is up, which concludes Scramble's story arc, and Jade has written the last few chapters of Stars, which is approaching the ending at warp speed. No I did NOT start tearing up when I got to read the draft of the end of the final battle, you can't prove anything.

Once both of those are done, we're going to take a break before we head into the last major story arc. Not to say that that will be the end end of it; heaven knows I tried to end this once and failed spectacularly. XD But it's the most involved thing left. Everything else is potential one-or-two shots; things to fill in the world some more. Silly fic about the Wild Cards trying to parent their kids. Smaller missions. Shenanigans. You know. ;)

There have already been some tiny hints about the last arc; not sure anyone has managed to call me on them yet. :3
