"I'm a volunteer for the Mauville City Pokemon Center, no one wants to do this but somebody has to you know. we found no more than a dozen dead baby houndours, these are what they call "breeding rejects". breeders release these guys to the wild thinking they would just live happily ever after.

Started replaying pokemon X after a really long time, since it came out I think. I defeated the main plot in 3 days (I couldn't put the game down I'm sorry) so I was bored and frustrated that getting a shiny took forever and that we have to catch 700 pokemon. 700!? My last pkmn game was Sapphire (10 years ago!), only 300 or so in there and I barely can finish that one.

But I came back into playing pkmn X just for the sake of trying to get a shiny (houndour btw) and filling my pokedex, and then I saw we could get the previous generation pokemon. Including Johto's! 

I love Johto, its where I started. (Pokemon Crystal) 

Not Blue, or Red or even Yellow. But Crystal. So my first starter was Cyndaquil, and boy did I love that Cyndaquil. So I really wanted one in pokemon X. I set my greeting to "Cyndaquil?" and after having a few wonder trades I run into this girl who I recently gave my Houndoom to in wonder trade. She pokes me into regular trading and I awkwardly accept, was she unhappy with the Houndoom I gave her? I evolved it and it has good moves, what could be wrong?

Instead I get the best surprise ever, she wants to give me a typholsion! I'm so happy but afraid on what pokemon to give in return and panic. So I just gave her my Mufasa (lion pkmn) and she seems to be happy, (I think, she just kicked my butt in a pokemon battle lol)

But nevertheless pokemon fandom, you rule in being nice and giving pokemon what we would like.
